The Blominmäki wastewater treatment plant in Espoo, Finland, was completed in 2023. Trimble's collaboration platforms managed this multi-material project with a huge amount of data, and they were widely used in the daily work of the different project teams. The Blominmäki wastewater treatment plant was recognized as the winner of the industrial category in the Tekla Global BIM Awards 2020 competition.
Blominmäki's new wastewater treatment plant client is the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority HSY. The new water treatment plant expands the authority’s capability to treat the wastewater of about 400 000 people.
