Located west of the Saint-Denis rail network at the intersection of Rue Pleyel and Rue Francisque Pourbeau, the Saint-Denis Pleyel station plays an important role in the Grand Paris Express project.
This station is connected to lines 14, 15, 16, 17 and RER-D, and 250 meters away is metro line 13.
With 250,000 passengers per day, this station is the center of the Grand Paris Express.

Challenges in the project
For this construction project, a single model was used to calculate steel and concrete quantities. The multiple beams emphasized here are connected to the slab using dowels and supported by corbels or intersecting concrete verticals.
Because the modeling was done in Tekla Structures and the structural calculations were done in Idea Statica, it contains a lot of point information and complex nodes.
Base sealant and dowels were aligned with the rebar, and sleeves were provided to allow placement of concrete columns on the metal beams.
