Sodramec is a family business specializing in the design, manufacture and installation of aggregate processing plants for quarries, sand pits and industry.
Plattard Granulats plant
The industrial division of Plattard, based in Villefranche sur Saône, produces 200,000 m³ of ready-mix concrete and 450,000 tonnes of manufactured concrete products every year. This production requires 350,000 m³ of aggregates.
In 2018, Sodramec designed, manufactured and installed the plant responsible for processing these aggregates.
Studies began in June 2018 and the facility was commissioned in January 2019.
A delicate design
Designing a complete plant in a small space, as the Plattard plants are located close to the city center of Villefranche sur Saône. The screening plant, the main element of the installation, covers a floor area of 400 m², including 8 storage hoppers of 150 m³, 2 screens of 13 tons and 1 screen of 17 tons, 2 vertical shaft crushers of 15 tons, 1 sand treatment of 27 tons, 4 vibrating dewaterers, 4 vibrating feeders.
Guaranteeing the stability of the structure against vibrations: a total of 14 vibrating machines on the same structure.
