The aim of the project is to build a state-of-the-art cement plant on a European scale, increasing yields while greatly reducing the carbon footprint (by 27%).
Our study concerns three conveyors used to transport clinker in a cement plant, and a building used to support incinerated silos (reinforced concrete and steel structure).
The biggest challenge was to design conveyors with significant overhangs so as not to add loads to the existing storage silos, with strict constraints on displacements for the mechanical conveyors supported by our structures.
