Project description
"How do you integrate new drafting software into a company without losing output?"
Defining the problem and taking stock at the start of the project :
At AMSA, the software used to design reinforcement is "ARMAOR" from Ariadis. It is easy to use for "simple" reinforcement, such as beams and columns in the building industry.
On the other hand, for more complex civil engineering reinforcement, the software is more difficult to use because of the 2D representation on shop drawings. The software gives us an endless list of bars and symbols to represent on a sectional view.
The aim is to use 3D modeling software for certain targeted tasks, to avoid overloaded 2D drawings and misunderstandings with manufacturing and assembly workshops.
The aim is to reduce errors and increase productivity.
Intermediate objectives :
Analysis of the husker trade and AMSA's role in the construction industry
Search on 3D modeling software with a choice for our field of activity
Basic framework stripping on 3D software
Rebar stripping with manufacturing drawing
Final objective:
Tekla Structures elements debugging with production launch.
