Grab rails at the new Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.
The project had several uses:
Temporary shoring for the formwork of the hospital's lower slab.
Straddling a busy road that is not closed during work
Protective decking so you can work above it without worrying about dropping anything on cars or passers-by
Suspended formwork for a facet slab
We have several challenges to meet:
Build on what already exists and position our structure on it without obstructing the road.
Pay attention to truck gauges, but also to the hospital emergency exit.
As the site is in the heart of the city and there isn't much room, we had to split the structure into several packages/trucks to minimize on-site storage (links with assembly).
Deadlines were tight, and thanks to Tekla Model Sharing we were able to work together on the model to be as efficient as possible.
Bim was a great help in working with our customer to avoid as many clashes as possible (very complex structure).
