University of Maryland Medical Center Utilizes Technology to Streamline Processes

One of the nation’s oldest academic medical centers, University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is the heart of the University of Maryland Medical System’s downtown campus, providing comprehensive care for the West Baltimore community and tertiary care for Maryland and the surrounding area. It is comprised of two hospitals in Baltimore: an 800-bed teaching hospital, the flagship institution of the 12-hospital University of Maryland Medical System and a 200-bed community teaching hospital, UMMC Midtown Campus.
